The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed the development of three infiltration wells in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head Abdul Rouf stated, those wells were built in RT 02/01 as it was prone to flooding.
Drainage and Infiltration Wells Built on Jalan Ikan Ella"The well development began on March 9 and completed yesterday," he expressed, Monday (3/15).
According to him, each well had 1.5 meters length with 60 centimeters width and 60-80 centimeters depth.
"They are connected to one another using a paralon pipe. The distance from one infiltration well to another is three meters," he stated.
